It was purchased at an estate sale and was previously entered into a show at the Kirkland, Illinois, Historical Society. The documentation from that will be included with the quilt. The notes read in part: 87" x 99" Hand pieced Hand quilted I have not washed this quilt but it appears to be clean and in good structural condition.
