This rod is marked as an 8wt on the shaft and tube, but due to its minimal weight, it really casts any line from a 6 8 very nicely. I think it just sings with a WF7 and would make a terrific bass rod or streamer rod. Other than some cork soiling, this baby is ready for another 50 years of carefree fishing.
