The agate beds just north of Ankara, Turkey appear to have run out of the high quality material such as this. Luckily, I bought a large quantity of rough when it first became available, and have cut many classic and beautiful slabs such as this from it. This spectacular slab is 6. 5 inches and 6 mm thick, and almost completely fracture free. This would be beautiful as a specimen or could be cut
