Aloxe-Corton Les Caillettes, 2022 well-defined nose of cantaloupe melonA plot that we have farmed since 2012 and arguably the finest village wine in our portfolio. Beautifully ripe on the nose, with floral violet elements, plum and damson fruit and traces of nutmeg, toffee and ginger all evident on the nose. On the palate the wine shows plenty of blackcurrant fruit, with good texture and weight. The finish is full, but absolutely seamless and really smooth. This is drinking beautifully now, but will certainly cellar well
