The vineyards sit between about 130240 metres elevation, often on terraced slopes with southsoutheast to southwest exposures. Soils are mixed: sandstone, marls, and mineral rich stone giving a sharp mineral streak, particularly when paired with cooling alpine and Adriatic influences. The winemaking is
