Lot 063 - Trio Of Antique Cased Photographs: Two 1/9th Plate Tintypes And One 1/6th Plate Ambrotype 2990-favs Various other lossesGrouping of three antique cased photographs including two 1 9th plate tintypes of a man and a woman, each housed in full split leatherette cases with velvet pillows, and one 1 6th plate ambrotype of a man under glass with an arched gold mat in a half leatherette case. The ambrotype exhibits extensive cracking across the image surface. All cases show significant wear including peeling leather, frayed edges, and general age related deterioration.
