Its real name is Branch Pond, which is located in the Green Mountain National Forest of Vermont, very close to where Jon spent his summers as a kid. This has been a favorite spot for Jon and Gail to kayak. Several times they have played tag with a very playful family of otters. To them, it will always be Otter Pond.
