Red Stables, Clontarf, Dublin - Barry McAdam Select tube gift package or framed option:Print (30cm square) gift packaged in postal tube with the Wellington Monument emergingThe Red Stables, Clontarf is an acrylic painting by Barry, depicting the beautiful Victorian stables commissioned for the St. Annes Estate by Arthur Guinness, Lord Ardilaun, in 1885. Designed by George Ashlin, an architect renowned for his work on religious buildings such as Cobh Cathedral, the stables now house Olives Caf and a gallery space for local artists. In recent years, restoration work has been completed, including the retiling of the roof.
