Concrete Chair Seat Depth: 15This piece is constructed by using architectural techniques for industrial concrete pouring. This process leaves it's signature by reflecting the wood grain from the forms into the concrete. Although visually and texturally the piece appears rough and raw, the surface is smooth to the touch. The reinforcement used in this piece has been cut off at the edges but left displayed, to let us never forget how this was made. This is brutalism at it's finest.
