Another fine example of Dingley's unique and varied check tensioner configurations. Rarely found strap over tensioner! Stamped internally D2. Also stamped 2 on the foot. Nicely blued caliper check spring. The reel retains most of its original lead finish. The ivorine handle is in excellent free spinning condition. The smooth brass (or perhaps nickel silver)
