A very fine quality mint block of eight with original gum, (five stamps are unmounted including the lower row). A very scarce and lovely positional piece, with above average centring and exceptional colour. The War Tax was added in addition to the rate of postage meaning the stamp carried both its face value and the added WAR TAX. The
