19th century George II-style footstool Bedroom chair I've left this unrestored forA very fine George II style carved walnut footstool from the 19th century with a drop in upholstered seat. Raised on four cabriole legs with carved acanthus scrolls, ending in wonderfully detailed carved claw and ball feet. A very versatile large piece use it to rest your feet on, put a drinks tray or books on, or sit at a piano or dressing table. Or just sit and admire those claws! Condition: Excellent, very solid, ready to use. Very clean underneath
