We initially stepped into a florist with an array of fresh-cut flowers next to azaleas and gardenias in small decorative pots

The palate had rather more fruit, but also with big, impressive heat in it we got lime juice on mango and pineapple sprinkled with salt and chilli; the sweetness came through as Lebkuchen, iced caramels and marrons glacs.
