Description

焼成時、窯の中で破裂し大破したものを破れ（やぶれ）と呼びます。

花を入れても、そのまま置いてもよい扁壺です。茶棚や床まわりのしつらえに置くと、粉青の淡い青みと掻落文の線が、静かに空間を作ってくれると思います。木箱が付属します。

石山図が彫刻されています。

錫の肌には長い使用によるくすみや擦れがあり、縁や透彫部分にも細かな摩耗が見られます。明るく磨き上げた錫器とは異なり、沈んだ古色が装飾の角を落とし、渋く馴染んでいます。
