A great project for a beginning quilter, it uses the three most basic quilting techniques: rotary cutting, piecing with a 1 4" seam, and simple hand applique (for the dots). The edges and rounded corners are finished with a facing, rather than a binding, so the bars and dots are not framed in they seem to travel beyond the edges of the quilt. The pattern listed here
