表面は赤褐色を帯び、土の粒子や焼成のむらがそのまま景色となっています。縄文土器のような強い装飾性ではなく、形と土味を中心にした静かな佇まいです。

江戸時代の使い込まれた円式朱塗盆です。

一部塗りのはげも見られますが、いい古味へと変化しています。

古墳時代の須恵器、あまり見ないリムの細い碗型土器で、底面はぐるぐると紐状の高台です。碗の一部が剥落しており、緊張感のある佇まいです。
