Antique Torquay Pottery Rooster Mottoware Plaque or Trivet Chinoiserie drapes Jean Gamache started working atThis is an antique Torquay pottery plaque featuring a motto and the image of a rooster or cockerel. The underside is stamped, but most of it is illegible except for Ware and Torquay. My feeling is that this is possibly Longpark pottery. The plaque measures 7 1 2 in height and 5 1 8 in width. It is in very good condition with no chips, cracks, crazing or wear a bit of colour run underglaze, original to the manufacture, but this has been very well
