Silk Embroidered Panel Pelmet: C1820/30 Lyon, France 19th century buckles only added something to itsA long panel or hanging with an abundance of extremely fine silk embroidered floral motifs. Expertly worked in silks on a fine black wool ground. This is one of a pair of panels which may have been made as part of a suite of bed hangings in the first half of the 19th century. Backed and edged with a fine linen in our Stroud based studios. Measurements: 67cm x 206cm
