2018 River Stone "Corner Stone" Wine but tenaciousRiver Stones flagship wine is rich, concentrated, textural, and bold. This wine is warm and inviting, even with the lower 13. 5% alcohol. The oak profile is up front indicating that I am experiencing a New World style of Meritage. Sweet fruits, dark cherry, blackberry, cedar, vanilla and white pepper are the main flavours. This wine is still young and can age gracefully in the cellar. A great reflection of the warm South Okanagan. (CWC, 02 12 22).
