Riomaggiore summer Almost none of California's palmsRiomaggiore is the southernmost of the five Cinque Terre villages terracotta houses stacked up a steep ravine to the Ligurian coast, joined by a footpath above the sea. The villages have been there since around the 12th century; cars still can't reach the centers, only trains and boats. Bree shoots in the late light, the houses catching the last of it, the sea behind them already dark.
