Aubergine Silk Velvet Riding Jacket: C19th English Traditional Costume Hand-painted onto a heavy paperThis is such a beautiful colour, a rich dark plum or aubergine, silk velvet which is very fine weight, unlike modern velvets of today. Fully lined throughout in a softbrown cotton, it has an open tail at the back to allow for a bustle and movement when riding. The jacket would originally have fastened with a button on one shoulder (now missing). Amie our model is a UK size 8. Measurements: 32 34 inch bust 24 inch waist Nape neck to hem 19 inches
