Brass Shaddle Shield Carved Notice the protruding mold seamFor your consideration one brass shaddle shield. Measures about 2 inches tall. The patina is an aged plum to dark green colour. Notice ARMY in block letters. All 3 nail holes are complete. Dug near Fredricksburg, Virginia from an area where many civil war relics have been found. Exact age is unknown but this is the second one of these I have had.
