Other uncommons, such as Mold Adder, Fatestitcher, Gomazoa, Exuberant Firestoker, Hedron Crab, and many other good uncommons can do lots of damage to an opponent
Think of the type line as three layers: Supertypes (adjectives): legendary, basic, snow, world, ongoing Card types (nouns): creature, land, artifact, enchantment, instant, sorcery, planeswalker, battle, plus some specialty ones (like kindred, scheme, plane, dungeon, and more) Subtypes (the specific kind): Elf, Equipment, Forest, Aura, Zombie, etc
The last solution was what I went for, and I have since opted to use a sequence length of 360 in all XY, Sun & Moon and Sword & Shield series sets, eliminating this problem
